Mufti Faraz Adam founded Amanah Advisors on a single standard: get it right at the source. He is the firm’s principal scholar and the face of it — not its ceiling.
His work spans banking, capital markets and the fastest-moving edge of fintech and digital assets, advising institutions across 20+ countries — from a first product to a national framework. He leads the firm’s certification work and sits at the head of the boards it installs.
He trained through a six-year ʿĀlimiyyah programme and specialised in iftā in Durban, South Africa. He holds a master’s in Islamic finance, banking and management from Newman University, a fintech specialisation from the University of Michigan, and AAOIFI’s Certified Shariah Advisor and Auditor qualification alongside the IFQ and CIFE. He wrote Introduction to Islamic Fintech.
